Ceci est la hand history commentée d'un sit'n go d'Omaha Hilo à 27$ que j'ai joué recemment sur pokerstars... l'objectif c'est d'illustrer les deux articles de Lou Krieger sur les mains de départ jouables en Omaha Hilo.
Cette session fera l'objet de deux parties: d'abord le jeu jusqu'à la bulle et ensuite le jeu ITM et le Heads up final.

Nous sommes bien en mode Turbo! 2 joueurs all in au flop alors que nous sommes en pot limit mais regardons les mains:

AAQ6 belle main d'Omaha mais fragile en Omaha Hilo pour une bonne raison: s'il y a deux babies au flop, il sera difficile voire impossible d'arracher le pot du fait des mains a tirage low... Or le joueur qui suivra avec son tirage low pourrait aussi trouver une main faible comme deux paires qui pourrait battre AAxx (ce qui ne fut pas le cas ici)

AK23: belle main classique de l'Omaha hilo avec laquelle il n'hésite pas a jouer sa partie au flop sur un tirage low max...

On prend les mêmes et on recommence RandomStu a de nouveau une main du type AAxx dont un As assorti qu'il joue très agressivement. nh2000 effectue un bet pot après une relance pre-flop (donk bet) et ce avec top paire et tirage low back door... heureusement pour lui une double paire a la river lui permet de rester en jeu.

Regardons un peu cette main. kum721 a une main de type A45x doublement assortie, une main donc avec un certain potentiel mais certainement pas 'premium'
Reddevil31 de grosse blinde a une bonne main basse A2 un faible potentiel pour le haut
au flop, les deux joueurs sont a tirage, suite et couleur pour l'un et tirage bas pour l'autre, le huit de trèfle faisant rentrer les deux mains qui partagent donc.
ce n'est pourtant pas la même chose car kum721 aurait pu éventuellement prendre le pot en entier alors que pour Reddeveil31, il pouvait au mieux espérer en avoir la moitié. C'est une situation qu'il faut éviter autant que possible car jouer uniquement pour la main basse c'est risquer son tapis pouir prendre la moitié des blindes... ce qui ne vaut peut être pas le coup!?

La bulle éclate sur cette 46ème main. Nous avons joué 4 mains dans cette première phase et pourtant nous somme ITM. A part une main jetée a la bulle ces 4 mains étaient les seules mains vraiment jouables que nous ayions reçus. Pour compenser, nous avons joué ces mains très agressivement et elles se sont avérées très rentables!

Dans la seconde partie, je vais changer un peu de rythme, la démonstration des avantages d'un bon choix mains de départ a été faite, nous somme dans l'argent, l'objectif est désormais de prendre la première place quitte a jouer des mains un peu plus spéculatives
